sweet potato fries recipe

Serves : servings 

Ingredients : 
- 2 large sweet potatoes (about 2½ pounds)
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon salt

Preparation Method :
1) Preheat the oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and set aside.

2) Peel and cut the sweet potatoes into wedges (see note) and put into a large bowl.

3) Drizzle the olive oil onto the sweet potatoes and stir, then sprinkle with the chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, and salt and stir so that all the sweet potatoes are evenly coated with the seasonings.

4) Transfer to the prepared baking sheet, arranging all the sweet potatoes in one layer. Bake for 10 minutes, then flip the sweet potatoes and bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until tender when poked with a fork. Remove from the oven and serve.


I cut each sweet potato lengthwise into quarters, and then each quarter into two or three wedges, which yields 10 to 12 wedges per sweet potato.
