honeyed greek frozen yogurt recipe

makes: 8 servings (½ cup each)

prep: 15 minutes     freeze: 4 hours

Ingredients : 
- 3 cups plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- ½ cup buttermilk
- ½ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- Fresh mint leaves

Preparation Method :
1) In a medium bowl combine yogurt, buttermilk, honey, and lemon juice. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and add to the yogurt mixture; discard bean. Stir yogurt mixture to combine. Transfer to a 1½- to 2-quart ice cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer’s directions. Transfer to a freezer container and ripen for 4 hours in the freezer.

2) If needed, let stand 10 minutes to soften slightly before serving. Garnish servings with mint leaves.
