greek feta burgers recipe

Serves2 servings (1 burger and ½ bun each)

prep: 25 minutes        cook: 8 minutes

Ingredients : 
- 1 recipe Cucumber Sauce
- 8 ounces 93% or leaner ground beef
- 1 tablespoon crumbled reduced-fat feta cheese
- 1½ teaspoons snipped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1⁄8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 whole wheat hamburger bun, split and toasted
- ½ cup fresh spinach leaves
- 2 tomato slices

cucumber sauce: In a small bowl combine 3 tablespoons chopped, seeded cucumber; 2 tablespoons light sour cream; 1 clove garlic, minced; ½ teaspoon snipped fresh Italian (flat-leaf) parsley; ¼ teaspoon snipped fresh mint; and 1⁄8 teaspoon sea salt.

Preparation Method :
1) Prepare Cucumber Sauce; set aside. In a medium bowl combine ground beef, cheese, parsley, garlic, and pepper. Shape mixture into two ½-inch-thick patties.

2) In a large nonstick skillet cook patties over medium-high heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until an instant-read thermometer inserted into side of each patty registers 160°F, turning once halfway through cooking.

3) Top each bun half with spinach. Top each with a burger, tomato slice, and half of the sauce.
