alfredo sauce recipe

MAKES ABOUT : 2 CUPS SAUCE

Ingredients : 
- ½ cup (1 stick; 4 ounces) salted or unsalted butter
- 1 garlic clove, pressed
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ⅓ cup plain yogurt
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1½ cups (5 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese

Preparation Method :
1) In a medium saucepan over high heat, melt the butter, about 3 minutes.

2) Add the garlic, cream, yogurt, and salt and whisk until the mixture comes to a slow boil, 5 minutes. Lower the heat to medium, add the cheese, and whisk for 2 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.

3) Cook over low heat for 5 minutes, remove from the heat, and serve.
